Purpose of the Publication
|

BSEC-URTA
Transport Journal aims to inform private and public sectors in
the Black Sea Region about new tendencies of development of the
Road Transport and Transportation in general, transit and cargo
handling industry and growing opportunities it may offer to the
further development of the trade; highlight on the role of the
governments and the business forces in the trade and transport
processes of the region; focus on investment opportunities and
establishing of new partnerships.
The publication
will reach to the companies providing Road, Maritime and Railway
transport services, Leading and Developing Producers, Private and
Public Authorities, International Organizations.

- Transport
policy: transport policy of BSEC Member States and other transition
economies (comments by transport ministers and other leading figures
of the transport industry; priorities in the development of the
transport industry, establishment of new partnerships), the EU
eastward enlargement - new challenges and opportunities it will
bring to the industry.
- Road transport: latest developments in the EU market and the enlargement
process, combined and intermodal operations.
- Ports and terminals: specialization in cargo handling, development projects,
free ports and special economic zones, investment environment, ferry business,
handling of container and Ro-Ro cargoes.
- Railway transport: common railway network, freight transportation, tariff
policy, co-operation priorities.
