24 June 2010 | H.E. Mr. Spyros KOUVELIS, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, representing the Chairman-in-Office of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, paid a working visit to the BSEC Headquarters in Istanbul on 23 June 2010.

After having a joint meeting with H.E. Ambassador Mr. Leonidas CHRYSANTHOPOULOS, Secretary General of the BSEC PERMIS and H.E. Ambassador Ms. Sumru NOYAN, First Deputy Secretary General of the BSEC PERMIS, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. KOUVELIS made a presentation of the priorities of the Greek Chairmanship-in-Office of BSEC to the Ambassadors, Consuls Generals and representatives of the Member States, Observers and Sectoral Dialogue Partners, the representatives of the BSEC Related Bodies and members of the press.
Following his presentation, H.E. Mr. KOUVELIS received the greetings, comments and questions of the participants pertaining to the Hellenic Chairmanship.

The visit was concluded with a reception hosted by the Secretary General at the BSEC premises on the occasion of the 18th Anniversary of the establishment of BSEC. Over 250 guests attended the reception, including the members of the diplomatic corps, high level bureaucrats, other guests from economic, business and cultural circles, as well as media representatives.
